Operation Awesome Waffles Complete!

The waffles were a complete success and I urge everyone to try them. Waffle irons are not very expensive, but of course the more expensive you go the better they are. The flimsiest ones (and cheapest) are from Toastmaster and Hamilton Beach. I got a Hamilton Beach one for a mere $7 at Target and it works really well. I haven't had much luck with Toastmaster, but if that's all you can find then go for it.  If you're going the cheap route, I would recommend to get a shallow belgian waffle maker, not the kind that makes 4 square waffles as those tend to cook unevenly. If you're willing to spend like $30 Cuisinart makes one called Round Classic Waffle Maker that turns out stupendous crispy waffles.

What? Shut up already and give you the recipes? Well, I never.....

Apple Waffles:
I served these with a Cinnamon Cashew Creme. I don't have the recipe I just put it together but if you want to make something like that I'm sure you can figure it out. They're yum with baked apples or just plain plain maple syrup, too.

Lemon Corn Waffles w/ Blueberry Sauce
Sooo good and soooo simple and soooo beautiful.

Pumpkin Waffles
These have been up on the site for awhile. People love 'em. I love 'em We all love 'em.

If you have a great waffle recipe do share it with me! I can never have enough. If you have an idea for a great waffle need help with the execution let me know and I'll see what I can do.

Stupid me forgot to take pictures! Next time...
