Veganomicon sample recipes and stuff
Thanks for all the well wishes. I feel a bit better, and my mom said just to rest and not leave the house today. So I was able to update the website a bit and put up a page for Veganomicon that includes a few recipes you can sample. And because everyone was so sweet even after I called you a cheapskate, I put up the Chickpea Noodle Soup recipe, too.

Please ignore the stupid Emeril ads for chicken stock that google ads keeps filtering in. I am getting rid of those this week because they obviously don't understand veganism. Instead support the Wildwood ads, they are vegan owned and operated and their soygurt clobbers.

Ha, yeah, maybe I shouldn't have even drawn attention to the dumb ads. But everyone knows that vegans love an enema with their dinner.

I prefer an after-dinner coffee enema, myself.

I suppose the Massengill's Mint went out with the 90's. I was trying to pick up this girl last week and asked if I could eat her douche. She gave me a wierd look and walked away. Am I doing something wrong in this whole dating thing? Chick's are soooo stuck up sometimes.

In pre-revolutionary France a daily enema after dinner was de rigueur. It was not only considered indispensable for health but practiced for good complexion as well.

We shouldn't draw too much attention if we only play in the derelict backwaters of BB comment threads.

Is that Wildwood yogurt sweetened? I despaired of ever finding an unsweetened soygurt, so I dragged out the old 1970s-vintage Salton yogurt maker, and started making my own from unsweetened soymilk. Why oh why do they have to add sugar? It's great plain!

I wish! It's almost impossible to find in Brooklyn. Stop projecting. And stop burning your fingertips on chocolate.

Although my mind's eye had Joe Leaphorn as a little different, Wes Studi captures the character's essence quite smartly with his interpretation.

I'm glad you're feeling better than you were. Thank you for posting the soup recipe, it looked so good. :) I was in Little Professor yesterday asking if they had any idea when I could expect the copy I pre-ordered.

I hope you feel better soon. The picture of the Chickpea Noodle Soup had me drooling beyond belief - I'll definitely be saving the recipe :D

I met the Wildwood folks at the Vegetarian Festival here in SF last year; great bunch of people. :)

Isa, in the forums on ppk you say something about, "we never get tired of linking to that one article on b12" what article is that?

I am making your beet cakes for a party tomorrow, will let you know how they turn out!

So the blurb about this book from the website made me really excited about these recipes, and I don't even cook! but I'll give it a try!

I have a question about the chickpea noodle soup. Do you think the mushrooms are really neccessary flavor wise? Because I have to admit, with shame, that I don't like mushrooms. I'm wondering if you can suggest something else to add that would pack the right punch.

keep rocking isa. you're my favorite chef!

Kitchens are among the most important rooms in homes. Making your kitchen the best it can be may require many things from small appliances to major appliances, kitchen tiling to counter tops, cabinets to sinks and fixtures. Remodeling your kitchen will bring a whole new feel to your house. Home Resources

That settles it, I need new appliances, I need them yesterday. I keep avoiding entering my kitchen because I hate to cook on old partially nonfunctional appliances. My nutrition comes first so I think I'll pay a visit to Kenmore parts pretty soon.
