If you don't want to see cupcakes you've come to the wrong place
Because all I'll be doing for the next 2 months is talking about cupcakes. Maybe, just maybe if you are lucky I will tell how cute my cat is or how much I resent my mother but don't count on it.

Those Green Tea Cupcakes look so cute and the Mexican Hot Chocolate sound delicious! I grew up on Mexican hot chocolate so I can imagine those taste like home.

I *love* mexican hot chocolate. Chocolate and cinnamon...mmmmm (And I love how the chocolate tablet things used to make it don't have milk in them, so I can make it with soy!)

Hey all!

Yes indeed, the Mexicellent cupcakes have a little cayeen pepper.

The cherry blossom is all marzipan lovin'. It makes these really, really green cupcakes a little less Godzilla and a little more Hello Kitty. Not that I don't love Godzilla, it's just that given the choice I'd rather eat Hello.

man, birthday parties at your house must be sweet awesome! when your book cupcake book comes out, i'm going to give to oscar, and then i'm going to threaten to leave him if he doesn't start making cupcakes once a week. do you think that's wrong?

Thank you so very much! My son is allergic to milk and eggs, my husband eggs and nuts so subsequently we have adapted vegan ways. The vegan cupcake can be a complicated thing. I tried my fave veg choc. cake recipe and all the tops came out crisp and popped off of my cute little cakes. The whole neighborhood blushed as the obscenities came out of my mouth...yes it was late at night and I had WAY too much confidence back then. I have tried many variations and still have had mediocre results. I have made many of your recipes...amazing! I have sent your banana cake to his elementary school many times....you have a whole crowd of admiring 5 year olds in Lexington, KY. I am so excited to see your new book. Keep cooking, it's so nice to be able to count on your recipes.

We are muchly looking forward to the new book too, yay! Does your Mexican chocolate have cayenne? My local "health food store" (do they still call them that? it is a locally owned small town store, not a chain) had recipes for vegan Mexican chocolate cake with cayenne. Yum.
