Meskerem ethiopean cuisine in Adams Morgan on 18th St, NW, is faboo. :) Love the "veggie messob" there, their sampler platter of veggie foods, and the sambusa appetizers are pretty good, too. Check the VSDC web site for more options.

I ended up not going to DC, but that is exactly where everyone said to go. Too bad cause I'm joensin for Ethiopian food!

do you know what distributor bookstores can get the book from? i want to make sure bluestockings gets it. maybe they have already done it, i don't know since i've been slacking the past month while renovations are going on. but just to be sure...

I am not sure of the bookstores yet, I doubt they got it yet though because it's not out till October. I'll make sure they get it though, believe you me.

Baltimore's only vegan restaurant is the Yabba Pot. It has caribbean/Ital (not italian) style fare. The Queen Greens are my favorite.

Pre-ordered the book and can't wait until it comes out. I'm thinking of giving up meat (if only so I won't be invisible to people wearing those special sunglasses), and this looks like the perfect way to do it.
