T-shirts coming, book almost done
Maybe I shouldn't write actual entries, I should just write titles. "T-shirts coming, book almost done".

When I'm done with the cookbook I want to put out a 7 inch record with some of the bands that have been on the show. Do people even put out 7 inches anymore? I guess I could do a little mini-cd for those new fangled cd players.

This weekend I plan to do nothing but write write write before my publisher kills kills kills me. I wonder if she reads this? If you are reading this, don't kill me. Killing me would not be vegan. Well, I guess it would be as long as I wasn't eaten, I guess it all depends on your definition of vegan. Which reminds me, years ago I said to someone "Peanut butter Cap'n Crunch is vegan!" and she said "It may not have any animal products but it's not vegan". And I was like "You freaking elitist Columbia student!" And she was like "Actually, I don't go to Columbia".

please don't get killed by your publisher. We need you to finish finish finish so we can buy buy buy copies of your book book book. Ok, sorry, that was annoying, but the triplets just feel so good to type.

I don't get why Cap'n Crunch isn't vegan. I mean, no animals products, 'tis vegan, no? Of course, one could make an extended critique about labor practices, sugar, and junkfood, but come on: even vegans need junkfood sometimes.

Anyway, good luck with the writing!

actually, the vitamin D in most mainstream cereals is D3, so depending on how strict you are, practically none of them are vegan.

i've never contacted quaker oats to see if they're okay, but since they're owned by pepsico, i don't have much faith.

OK, that's fair enough. Interesting stuff. The point with this person was not about vitamin d though, it was that she was saying even if something was animal-free but unhealthy it wasn't vegan. She was just being a snob.

Yeah -- a lot of groups still put out 7"s ... almost all reggae is still released on that format and a lot of smaller punk/metal labels still use it as well.

Let me know if you want to know about pricing. A few months back I did a little research on it...

7 inches...of vinyl

You know that you can make 5" records, even 8" inch records and the every popular ten inchers. The thing about this format, is more the aesthetics. Cover art and the actual placement of the needle in the groove. My question is this going to be a multiple record set on the 7 inchers? Cause you could probably get 8 songs to fit quite nicely on a ten incher.

Plus, think of all that room for liner recipes.

Better yet all the room for all those extras that make albums so much more fun than every other format. PPK memorabilia... mobiles, posters, paper dolls, the list is only as short as the imagination, that and cost effectiveness.

any way put me down for whatever format you choose, perferably vinyl.

bet Tribal War Neil of Nausea would even help out.

I guess I'm going to cop put and do a cd, but I agree about the funness of records, I just worry that not enough people will buy it and it will be too expensive to produce. But none of this is going to happen for a couple of months so don't start standing in line just yet!

Put out a tape! I still love my tapes! You gotta have the theme song on there too, I once listened to it on repeat for 2 hours once, haha! I can't wait for the book to come out. Best of luck not getting killed!

OK, I haven't been killed yet. A tape would be awesome, I'd worry that no one would buy it though. I guess I have to do a cd. That is funny that you listened to it on repeat, it is way too short huh? I'm going to see if they'll do an extended mix!
